New “inBREWsive” Campaign Launches for Craft Beer Industry
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – April 1, 2023 – The Brewers Association has partnered with Retention PR to launch their new inBREWsive campaign beginning on Monday, April 3 at Brewery Legitimus in New Hartford, Connecticut. The campaign aims to assist the craft beer industry in creating a workplace environment where their employees feel welcomed and accepted for who they are.
The campaign will feature multiple educational sessions at local Connecticut breweries with the purpose of demonstrating strategies that provide exposure, access and opportunity to diverse groups in the craft beer industry.
With the overall goal of the inBREWsive campaign being to increase the retention rate of diverse employees within the beer industry as a whole, the Brewers Association and Retention PR both believe in the importance of creating a more inclusive workplace.
Christina Sayer, co-founder Brewery Legitimus and member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee of the Brewers Association, believes inBREWsive is a great campaign for the industry as a whole. “InBREWsive will serve as the perfect campaign to educate all members of our industry in how to create the most inclusive community we can,” Sayer said. “It is something that is long overdue, and can bring about real change to the craft beer world.”
Those who attend the inBREWsive sessions should expect to learn about the current state of diversity in the craft beer industry, effective communication strategies to apprise leadership of any diversity issues, and how to ensure their company’s future success through effective DEI practices.
